Dummypedia: What is Affiliate Marketing?
Simply put, it is an opportunity for everybody to sell things online which are not theirs to sell.
1. For example, our friend Ronald McDonald wants to sell more burgers, he gets you and me to help him sell them.
2. We both try to sell his burgers and if we sell some, we get commissions. It's a great way for Ronald to gain exposure without having to spend enormous amounts on advertising because you and I (as affiliate marketers) exert most of the efforts for selling the burgers.
3. We can do this through our blogs, websites, or our recommendations (like in Facebook).
