Heavy Competition in Internet Marketing

It's a dog eats dog world in the battlefield called Internet Marketing. Competition is rife and the battle lines have already been drawn.

Sometimes, the small Internet business owner just gets gobbled up by the major companies. They have the manpower, the funding and they could even outsource their efforts thereby giving them the competitive edge that makes it hard for the small players to break through in the arena.

In the interim, there is very few that a small webtrepreneur could do to challenge these web behemoths. You can't outgun the big boys through sheer effort. It would take a lot of imagination.

With that said, breaking through in a highly competitive niche is my goal.

I expect failure. But I also expect to try and try again.

Your Competition is Your Friend

Mighty and powerful as the competition could be, there may be some segments of the market that they neglect to reach. It would take solid research into statistics and a comprehensive follow through.

For my campaign, my first approach would be to befriend the major players.

Though I expect them to ignore me, I will still exert efforts to try and win their recognition. At this point, it would be enough for my goal to be acknowledged as competition rather than be totally ignored.
