1. Choose a product to market in affiliate programs (Amazon Associates, CJ, Clickbank)
2. Create an online presence. The more the merrier.
3. Hire freelance writers and SEO specialists in freelancer.com. (You could try oDesk - but freelancer.com has the cheapest work around. I know, because I am a freelancer)
**Remember, Freelancer.com = Quantity,
oDesk = Quality.
Take your pick.
4. Hire them to execute the following:
- Write articles with keywords related to the product you are selling. ie. if you are marketing iPhones, get them to write anything related to an iPhone
- Submit said articles to as many article directories as you can (Ezine, Squidoo)
- Have the SEO Specialists link from the article directories to your online presence and subsequently put your affiliate links
- Create that irritating link wheel. (Google it)
- Use social media to market subtly. Emphasis on subtlety.
To have a comprehensive strategy, you must develop your own. Oh, why is the blog post entitled Reviews? Because, what freelancers write are generally product reviews.
(I knew you wouldn't click the first link that I told you to... ok, again)

Danny,
ReplyDeleteInteresting post. I followed the link to the Scientific American article and read your comment. You are correct. It seems that everything is spun these days in one way or another.
